Bhurin Sead (he/him) is a multidisciplinary performer and creative producer who specializes in creating collaborative and participatory experiences that seek to forge meaningful connections. He is fascinated by performer-audience relationships and the transformative possibilities that emerge when those boundaries dissolve.
For over 18 years, Bhurin has performed with Blue Man Group, contributing to more than 4,000 shows, leading productions, training new performers, and developing original music videos, multimedia collaborations, and interactive projects that extend theatrical storytelling into digital and public spaces. His original work created in collaboration with interdisciplinary artists includes immersive sound-based performances with The Society of Historic Sonic Happenings and participatory events that invite audiences into shared acts of connection and discovery. He is also a musician whose work spans punk, ambient, and experimental rock, composing for both personal projects and original theater. He holds an MFA in Performance and Interactive Media Arts from Brooklyn College and approaches all his work with a spirit of curiosity, play, and collective imagination.
